Please wear a face covering when visiting all buildings at Knock Shrine. Wearing a cloth face covering in public will reduce the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) in the community. It will help to reduce the spread of respiratory droplets from people infected with COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Cloth face coverings may also help to stop people who are not aware they have the virus from spreading it. If you are exempt from wearing a cloth face covering on medical grounds, please wear a face visor.
Use Hand Sanitiser
Hand sanitiser stations are in place at the entrance to all churches and buildings at Knock Shrine.Please use hand sanitiser when entering and leaving all buildings at Knock Shrine.
Please respect and adhere to guidance provided by our Stewards and Volunteers, including necessary hand and respiratory guidelines. Hand sanitiser is widely available at each of the buildings. We strongly advise all attending to use this, and to keep a safe distance of 2 metres from others.

It will help us to protect each other and slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Ireland. Using the COVID Tracker app along with the existing public health measures will help us all stay safe when we meet up, socialise, work or travel.

Yes, groups and families may sit together. You will be required to leave one vacant seat between you and the next group/ individual in the row.
No. You can only take the seating which is available at the time of attendance.
Holy Communion will be available and the celebrating Priest will advise at each Mass how to receive the Holy Sacrament. Communion must be received in the hand only in-line with current guidelines.
The Apparition Chapel is open for private prayer daily from 8am to 9pm.
Knock Parish Church is open daily from 8am-9pm.
Masses take place at Knock Parish Church at the following times:
Monday to Friday: 9am and 7.30pm with Rosary at 7pm
Knock Basilica is open daily from 8am to 9pm and public Masses take place at the following times:
Monday to Friday: 12 noon and 3pm
Saturday: 12 noon, 3pm and 7.30pm with Rosary at 7pm
Sunday: 12 noon, 3pm and 7.30pm with Rosary at 2.30pm
Confessions are available in the Chapel of Reconciliation from 11am to 3pm daily.
Adoration is not available at the moment. We hope to be able to offer Adoration in the near future.

The ceremonies for Anointing of the Sick are not taking place at present.
Once we are in a position to resume this service, details will be made available on our website.
In exceptional cases, anointing can be requested on an individual basis after Mass.
Holy Water is available at the outdoor fonts adjacent to the Apparition Chapel. Please use your own wipes to wipe down the fonts before and after use.
Holy Water fonts at the entrances to all churches are empty.
The team at the outdoor candelabrum at the parish church will light candles on your behalf.
You may also light a candle in the Confessional Chapel which is open daily from 11am-3pm.
