Counselling Centre Events
The Counselling Centre at Knock Shrine has developed a new programme of events for the spring-summer.
The programme offers a varied mix of workshops and information evenings offering help and support to those in difficulty.
The Counselling Centre also runs a ‘Drop-In’ Listening service which is open to anyone who wishes to talk in confidentiality. The Counselling Centre is currently seeking volunteers for the drop-in service. Knock Counselling Centre is hosting two evening seminars on Cyber Bullying and Internet Safety Training for parents of primary school and post-primary school children and adolescents. The talks will be delivered by Jeremy Pagden, Managing Director of Schools Websites.
Topics covered will include
- Overview of the Internet
- Cyber Bullying
- Safe use of Apps
- Safety settings on your home Wi-Fi
and many other issues important for us as Parents in our duty of care for our children when they are using the Internet
