'Dare to Hope' programme

Resources For 'Dare to Hope' at Knock Youth Village, Saturday 14 June 2025

Welcome to Knock, Ireland’s International Eucharistic and Marian Shrine

You follow in the footsteps of countless pilgrims who have come to this Sacred space to reflect and pray at the place where the people of this small village witnessed an extraordinary vision on the 21st of August 1879. On that wet evening, Our Lady appeared at the gable wall of our Parish Church in the company of St. Joseph and St. John the Evangelist. Unique to the Knock Apparition is the representation of the Eucharist, in the appearance of The Lamb on the altar, standing before a Cross and surrounded by a host of angels.

As you spend some time with us, we hope that you will find your visit spiritually uplifting and that you will leave this sacred place renewed in faith and refreshed in spirit.
