Food and Accommodation

The best way for visitors to experience Knock Shrine is by staying in the peaceful and tranquil village and by taking the opportunity to experience all that Knock Shrine has to offer.

Knock House Hotel

Knock House Hotel is a 3 Star Hotel located in the tranquil International Marian Shrine village of Knock, Co Mayo.
This hotel nestles in 100 acres of picturesque grounds and is less than a 5 minute walk from Knock Shrine & Basilica.

It’s the perfect location for a relaxing break where you will experience uniquely friendly, comfortable and stylish hotel,welcoming staff and excellent cuisine. The Four Seasons Restaurant is open daily serving food from 12.30pm and our Lounge Menu is available daily from 12-9pm.

The hotel has 6 wheelchair accessible rooms and is noted for its excellent facilities for those with mobility needs.

St. Mary’s

St. Mary’s is located beside the National Shrine of Our Lady of Knock and is the perfect base to experience the peace and tranquility of this sacred place. The convent is an impressive three storey building, with 51 en suite rooms, 20 of which have been newly refurbished. St. Mary’s offers peaceful accommodation, giving you time to reflect and rest. With special rates available, Bed & Breakfast rates to full-board basis.

It has a large dining hall where we cater for groups and tours. We also have a smaller restaurant, if you want to come in for something light to eat and we also serve lunch and dinner. The restaurant is open daily from 8am. St. Marys also has a TV lounge, a chapel and a meeting room. All of which can be used by our guests, whether you are an individual or you are part of a group staying with us. It has an interesting history and is very much a fabric of the unique story of Knock, having been in operation for so many years. It is well worth a visit on your trip to Knock.

Café Le Chéile

Café Le Chéile, located at Knock Museum, is an ideal place for visitors to pause and enjoy a range of delicious meals and snacks while taking in the beautiful views and gardens at Knock Shrine. ‘Le Chéile’ is the Irish term for ‘together’ and we hope that ‘Café Le Chéile’ will be a meeting place for people to come together and enjoy our delicious freshly-prepared food.

Caravan Park

Knock Caravan and Camping Park is an excellent base for touring Co. Mayo and the West of Ireland, adjacent to the beautifully landscaped grounds of Knock Shrine. Set in 3 hectares of mature gardens, the park offers  excellent facilities  for  the convenience of  visitors:

  • hot showers
  • disabled showers and toilets
  • recycling
  • waste water
  • picnic and washing up areas
  • WiFi
  • a recreation room

The park has excellent facilities for caravans and camper vans  with a total of 39 pitches available.
