Day of reflection with St John’s Gospel

The St John’s Gospel Group at Knock Shrine is organising a day of reflection for January 29th and all are welcome to attend.

The group was set-up last November as a means towards renewed discipleship, in response to Pope Francis’ Year of Mercy.

The group spend one hour each Friday morning, from 10.45am, reading, sharing and reflecting on the Gospel of St John.

The weekly hour has been a great success so far and new members are always warmly welcomed.

The event on January 29th will start at 10am with a reflection, led by Fr Tom Taaffe in Room 1 at St John’s Rest & Care Centre.

Mass will be celebrated in the Apparition Chapel at 11am, followed by mid-day prayer.

Participants can enjoy soup and a roll for lunch or bring their own, if they prefer.

At 2pm, there will be a personal testimonial on grace.

The day will end at 3pm, with a thanksgiving prayer for the gift of faith.

For further information on this day or the St John’s Gospel Group, telephone (094) 93 88302.

Please advise a member of the group if you are attending so they can cater for lunch requirements on the day.
