All are welcome on 14 June to Dare to Hope – a dynamic and prayerful gathering for young adults aged 18 to 30, hosted in collaboration by the Irish Bishops’ Conference and Knock Shrine. The event will take place in the Youth Village at the International Eucharistic and Marian Shrine in Knock. A twenty-euro attendance charge will enable participants to hear guest speakers, to attend workshops and related events. Dare to Hope will conclude with the con-celebration of Mass in the Basilica of Our Lady, with Bishop Fintan Gavin of Cork and Ross as the chief celebrant.

Speaking ahead of the event Bishop Gavin, who also serves as chair of the Bishops’ Council for Pastoral Renewal and Adult Faith Development, said, “In a world where young people are searching for purpose and belonging, this gathering offers a space to encounter Christ, explore faith, and find hope together in community. All are welcome.”

The keynote address will be delivered by Father Conor McDonough OP, a Dominican priest and theology lecturer, well-known for his engaging approach to Scripture and mission in today’s world.

Throughout the day interactive and reflective workshops will include:
