On Tuesday 31st May at 5pm (Irish Time), Pope Francis will lead a global Rosary for peace in Ukraine and an end to all wars.
The news was announced on Ascension Thursday in a statement from the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization.
On Tuesday, 31 May, at 5pm (Irish Time), the Pope will pray the Rosary before the statue of Mary Regina Pacis in Rome’s Marian Basilica.
“All the faithful in every part of the world are invited to support Pope Francis in his prayer to the Queen of Peace,” the statement encouraged.
Knock Shrine has been invited to join in praying the Rosary from the Apparition Chapel. Fr Richard Gibbons, Rector of Knock Shrine is inviting people to take part in-person or online.
The Rosary will be live-streamed on the Knock Shrine website on our Watch page and Facebook page. The Rosary will also be broadcast live around the world on the Vatican News website www.vaticanews.va.
