A special day at Knock Shrine takes place to celebrate St. Thérèse of St. Lisieux ‘s life and spirituality.
There is a full programme of events for the day, including a guided tour, screening of a film following in the footsteps of St. Thérèse and Mass. To coincide with this memorable day, a major relic of St. Thérèse from Carfin Grotto in Scotland, is visiting Knock Shrine for the first time. The relic will be on display for veneration in Knock Museum from 11 am to 2pm and again from 5pm to 6pm. Pilgrims will also be invited to share stories of their devotion to St. Thérèse in the museum.
10am-11am : Film Screening – St John’s Welcome Centre (will be replayed at 11am)
11am – 12pm: Guided Tour – Meet at St John’s Welcome Centre
12.15pm-1pm: Talk on St Therese and the Holy Face by Caoimhe Doyle – St John’s Welcome Centre
1pm-2.30pm: Free Time
2.30pm: Anointing of the Sick- Knock Basilica
3.00pm: Concelebrated Mass in Knock Basilica
