Upcoming Events

At Knock Shrine, November is a time to remember.

We invite you to join with us in prayer at Knock Shrine during November, as we remember our deceased and begin to journey through Advent.

Events include our monthly online Scripture Reflections, a 3-day celebration to St Joseph from the 5th - 7th of November and a series of talks throughout Advent.

In conjunction with St Louis Community School, Kiltimagh
Next Reflection: Tuesday 7th December, 8.30pm

Following the success of last year’s online reflections, students from St Louis Community School will deliver monthly scripture reflections, beginning on Tuesday 7th December at 8.30pm.

Students will take their favourite passage of Scripture and reflect on it through video, providing their own written narrative and imagery. We are inviting people to join us on our website www.knockshrine.ie/watch-live to end the day in a prayerful and peaceful way and to enjoy a quiet time of reflection through various aspects of Scripture.

The online reflections will take place on the first Tuesday of each month until June 2022.

Sunday 14th November, 3pm

To pastorally support everyone who has suffered during the pandemic, and in the context of November being the traditional time when we remember our dead, on Sunday 14 November at 3pm, the Bishops of Ireland will undertake a pilgrimage to Knock Shrine to concelebrate Mass for all those who have died on the island, and for their families, during the pandemic. During the Mass, Bishops will offer prayers of thanksgiving for all those who so selflessly sacrificed so much during this time.

This Mass will be live-streamed from Knock Basilica on www.knockshrine.ie/watch-live and broadcast on the RTÉ News Now digital television channel and online.
