The theme for Ignatian Week this year is ‘Love bids us welcome, and how can we respond!’. The week will begin with an introduction in the Prayer Centre at 7pm on Sunday evening, July 27th and will conclude on Saturday, August 2nd at 6pm.
You are welcome to the whole week or part of it. It can serve as a retreat, with spiritual direction available daily. The week will be led by Jesuits, lay persons and Religious skilled in Ignatian Spirituality. We will explore together how the Three Divine Persons are at work in our hearts and lives, and how in turn we can work with Them in the shaping of our world.
Questions are welcome. There are no silly questions! Here are 10: add yours!
‘Does God really care about me and those I love?’
‘Is this life all there is?’
‘Lord, help the little faith I have!’
‘I lost God a long time ago: I want to find him again’.
‘What’s God up to in my life?’
‘I’ve given up on the Church. Am I beyond hope?’
‘How can I pray in our chaotic world?’
‘Why call Christianity a Love Story and the Eucharist a Love Feast?’
There is no charge for this event. The retreat inputs will be live-streamed and there will also be opportunities for online shared reflection using Zoom.
‘Give your soul a chance to catch up!’
