The 45th Annual Eucharistic All-Night Vigil will take place on Thursday 7th – Friday 8th December.

The purpose of the all-night vigil is to celebrate and honour the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Organised by the director of the Eucharistic Apostolate of Atonement for Mercy, the Vigil is inspired by the spirituality of the Venerable Archbishop Fulton J Sheen.

The programme for the night begins on December 7th at 10pm with confessions until 12 midnight in the Chapel of Reconciliation. The vigil commences at 12 midnight in the Basilica with Rosary, Candlelight Procession, Holy Hour and Stations of the Cross.

There will then be a Mass at 4am on December 8th with main celebrant Fr Freddy Warner and concelebrant Fr Brendan Walsh.

Music will be provided by Knock Shrine’s music director, Úna Nolan, and soloists James Kilbane and Deirdre Parle.

St John’s Rest & Care Centre will be open all night to facilitate pilgrims who are attending the vigil.
