Knock Basilica on St Patrick’s Day

For the first time in history, Knock Basilica was lit up in green lights to mark St Patrick’s Day.

The green glow of the Basilica looked striking and could be seen for miles around. Many people stopped over the course of the weekend to take photographs and it caused quite a stir in social media, striking a chord with the Irish diaspora all over the world.
