St Thérèse International Day – July 12th 2026

This Sunday, July 12th, we celebrate the life and spirituality of St Thérèse .

The programme of events begins in the morning in St. John’s Welcome Centre with a screening of a special film. Guided tours of the Knock Shrine grounds will also be conducted throughout the morning, with particular focus on points of interest of St Thérèse.

After lunch, Fr Vincent Sherlock will give a talk entitled “Song & Story”.

Relics St. Thérèse will be on display for veneration throughout the morning and later in the afternoon in St John’s.

All are welcome to this special day.

10am-12pm: Film screening in St John’s Welcome Centre

10am- 1pm: Veneration of Relics in St John’s

11am: Guided Tours of the Grounds (meeting point: St John’s)

12pm- 1.30pm: Free Time

1.45pm-2.15pm: “Song & Story” with Fr Vincent Sherlock in St John’s

2.30pm: Anointing of the Sick in Basilica

3pm: Concelebrated Mass in Basilica followed by Eucharistic Blessing and

Outdoor Rosary Procession (weather permitting)

4.15pm-5.30pm: Veneration of Relics in St John’s
