Visiting Knock Shrine this Autumn

Knock Shrine is open daily and welcoming pilgrims.

As of Monday 6th September 2021, there have been a number of changes implemented at Knock Shrine in line with Government advice on the easing of restrictions.

Pilgrims are no longer required to queue in order to attend Mass.

The number of people that can attend Mass has increased, meaning that we can accommodate up to 50% of the normal full capacity within the Church.

Families and groups can sit together as normal however we ask that you leave once vacant seat between your group/ family and the next group/ family in the row.

Attendance will continue on a first-come, first-served basis. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to attend Mass once allocated capacity has been reached.

The public are asked to continue to wear face masks, to sanitise and to be mindful of their own personal safety as well as the safety of other pilgrims.
