Knock Prayer Centre
The theme for this year’s Week of Ignatian is “Jesus, if people only knew you…” – Meeting Jesus of Nazareth through the eyes of Ignatius of Loyola.
There are moments when something in us wonders if we have missed the heart of it all, when life feels fragmented, and we long for a deeper meaning that can hold everything together. This week is an invitation to pause, to encounter Jesus of Nazareth not as an idea, but as a living presence, one who still calls, still gathers, still heals and transforms.
Guided by the wisdom of Ignatius, we will explore the life, mission, and prayer of Jesus, and discover how God’s quiet work is already unfolding within our own lives. In a changing and uncertain world, this is a space to listen again for the deeper story of a God who is drawing all things into love.
You are welcome for the full week or for individual days
It can serve as a retreat, with spiritual direction available daily
There is no charge for this event but donations are welcome. All main inputs will be live-streamed, with opportunities for prayer and shared reflection online
Perhaps you recognise some of these quiet questions?
Who is Jesus for me—really?
What is God doing in my life and can I trust it?
Is there a deeper meaning holding everything together?
How can I pray when life feels fragmented or uncertain?
What does it mean to live a life that is truly “for” others?
Can faith still speak into the world we are living in now?
Is it possible that I am being gently called into something more?
As José A. Pagola writes: “Those who draw near to Jesus discover not a doctrine, but a way of living—a way that humanises, liberates, and fills life with meaning.”
Come as you are. Bring your questions, your hopes, your restlessness.
And perhaps, in the quiet unfolding of the days, you may find yourself echoing that same prayer of Ignatius—not as a thought, but as a recognition: If only people knew You.

Alongside the wider Week of Ignatian Spirituality 2026: Jesus if People Only Knew You, the Retreat Village at Knock Shrine offers a quieter, more immersive invitation for those who feel drawn not simply to attend the week, but to gently dwell within it.
This programme offers the opportunity to step away from the noise and pace of everyday life and enter into a more reflective rhythm during these sacred days. Staying in the peaceful surroundings of the Retreat Village, guests are invited to receive the grace of the week slowly, allowing the talks, prayer, silence and personal reflection to continue unfolding long after each session ends.
Each day includes participation in the main Ignatian Week programme at Knock Prayer Centre.
