Watch: The Story of Knock Video

Take a journey back in time to the 21st August 1879, hear the fascinating story of the Apparition and see the village of Knock as it would have looked in 1879, complete with the Parish Church, a scattering of thatched cottages and farmland.

Using the Village Model at Knock Museum, this film tells the story of Knock, beginning on 21st August 1879. It describes the events of what began as just an ordinary day in Knock, and provides a glimpse into the lives of the fifteen witnesses. The Village Model is a miniature replica of Knock village as it was in 1879 in beautiful, intricate detail. The model is on display at Knock Museum which is open daily.
