Handel’s Messiah to be performed at Knock Basilica
Following unprecedented sell-out performances of Handel’s Messiah in 2017 and 2018, the trumpet shall sound once again on Saturday 22nd November at 7:30pm with the return of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for the third performance at Knock Shrine of the world’s most famous and beloved oratorio, renowned for stunning choruses and arias.
Featuring the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Nicholas Chalmers – Conductor, an incomparable line up of soloists, Soprano Aoife Miskelly, Alto Anne Marie Gibbons, Tenor Andrew Gavin, Rory Musgrave – Baritone and one of Ireland’s finest vocal ensembles, Resurgam, this will be a sensational evening of delightful and thrilling music making.
