Godly Play – A Prayerful Re-Telling of The Apparition Story

We are delighted to offer a specially commissioned re-telling of the Knock Apparition through Godly Play on Sunday, August 17th. This prayerful session will take place at the daily workshop at 12.45pm in St. John’s Centre and at the guided prayer session in the Prayer Centre at 5.15pm.

What is Godly Play?

Godly Play is a form of spiritual accompaniment for children and adults alike. It uses a unique method of STORYTELLING which allows children to explore their own spirituality. Godly Play invites children to wonder about the mysterious presence of God in their lives. The children connect with Parables, Sacred Stories and Liturgical action through story, play and silence. It was originally designed to be used regularly with children in church settings; however it is now used in a variety of settings, most notably within families. It is suitable for use with adults as well as children.
