The annual Blessing of Pets ceremony will take place at Knock Shrine on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11am. This lovely occasion coincides with the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi and is always a very memorable occasion here at the Shrine. Join us for this special celebration of the bond between people and the animals entrusted to our care. The blessing offers a meaningful opportunity to gather in prayer and celebrate all of God’s creatures in the peaceful surroundings of the Shrine. Blessing takes place in the Shrine grounds, outside St. Joseph’s at 11am.

The short prayer service will take place in the grounds at Knock Shrine, outside the Family Centre.
