Jesuit Week: July 23 – 29th

Jesuit Week will take place from  23-29 July, 2023

The theme for this year is ‘Nourishment for a Hungry Heart’

You are invited to participate in all the events this week, or to drop in for any session. The Week can serve as a Retreat for those who wish.

‘Come away and rest awhile’ was Jesus’ call to his over-burdened disciples (Mark 6:31) and today he invites us to take what space we can from our busy lives, so that our souls can catch up.  The Week will be a faith-fest, in which we can strengthen our confidence in our Christian calling in these demanding times. It will give an opportunity to listen to ‘the still small voice’ and experience healing and growth. By attending to the divine love-story at work in ourselves and our world, despite all obstacles, we will fall more deeply in love with God who loves us and is the origin of all that is good. A God of surprises awaits us!

Spiritual Direction will be available for those who wish, including retreatants. Daily sign-up. There is no charge for any event: donations welcome.

The Week will be led by an Ignatian Group, who will work as a Team, all of whom are qualified in Pastoral Ministry; female and male, younger and older, lay and Religious.
