Knock Shrine re-opening at Level 3

Knock Shrine will reopen for public Mass from Wednesday 2 December 2020.

 

 

Mass will take place at 12 noon and 3pm daily. There will be an additional public Mass on Saturday evenings at 7.30pm preceded by Rosary at 7pm. The Parish Church and Apparition Chapel will be open for private prayer.

Those wishing to attend Mass over the coming weeks are encouraged to arrive early and should expect to queue for a period. All public Masses will take place in the Basilica which now operates at restricted capacity of a maximum of 200 people per Mass.

Confessions will be open daily from 12 noon to 3pm in the Chapel of Reconciliation.

Members of the public will also be able to request Mass Cards at the Main Mass Card office which will be open daily from 9am-5pm. Phone and online orders will also continue to operate as normal.

The bookshop at Knock Shrine will be open from 9am-5pm daily.

Please note that Cafe le Cheile will remain closed.

All churches and public buildings will operate queuing systems at this time. Everyone coming to Knock to attend Mass or other services is asked to observe social distancing guidelines and please adhere to the advice of staff and ushers.

A Vigil will be held at Knock Shrine to celebrate and honour the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on the 7&8 December. Details of Mass and Confession times will be published on the Shrine website later this week.
