Are you ready to share your gifts and talents to inspire young people in faith?

 

Programme Overview

The Knock Youth Leadership Programme will equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to set up or grow youth ministry initiatives in their parish.

Participants will be supported by three teams to help them achieve their goals:

  • Redemptorist Youth Ministry – will deliver a seven-module programme designed to ground your youth ministry initiative in faith.
  • Youth Link – will help you learn the practical skills necessary for youth ministry, such as group formation, tips and techniques for working with young people, safeguarding, and more.
  • Knock Youth Ministry – will accompany and mentor you, including visits to your parish to support your work.

September 3rd & 4th

October 1st–3rd (Friday to Sunday)

Upon application, candidates will be contacted by Mairéad Jennings, Director of Youth Ministry, to arrange a meeting (online or in person) to discuss the programme, their youth project or event ideas, and set plans. Only after this meeting will places on the programme be offered.

Parish Support and Programme Contribution

 

Participation requires support from your parish to ensure any youth ministry projects or events can continue locally.

A reference from your Parish Priest is required as part of the application.

There is a €300 contribution (payable by the parish) which covers:
