Now in its sixth year, Mayo Day, the official day that honours the people and place of Co Mayo, will take place on Saturday , May 2nd 2020. This year, Mayo Day will take place solely online, with live streams and content on www.mayo.ie and Mayo.ie’s social media channels. A special Mass to commemorate the day will be broadcast live from Knock Basilica at 3.30pm. The Mass will be streamed live on our website and on our Facebook page.
This is an ideal occasion for people throughout our county and our diaspora to come together as we celebrate our rich cultural, historical and ecclesiastical heritage.
