All are welcome to Knock Shrine on Corpus Christi Sunday, June 22nd, as Archbishop Eamon Martin consecrates Ireland to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The consecration will take place during the 3pm mass in Knock Basilica.
There is a full programme of events for the day including uplifting talks, anointing of the sick and an opportunity to venerate relics.
The pilgrim Sacred Heart Statues, blessed in Rome earlier this year, will return to Knock for this occasion.
The Relics of St Margaret Mary Alacoque, St Claude la Colombiere and Blessed Mary of the Divine Heart will be welcomed at the Basilica by
Fr Richard Gibbons at 11.30am and may be venerated following the 12 noon mass until 2pm.
